Best time to perform this spell: With the full moon

What you will need:

  • Two round smooth stones of medium size, best if collected near your home
  • One white permanent paint marker
  • One long, white cord
  • One white candle
  • Sea salt
  • Cypress oil

Create a sigil for protection and activate in your preferred fashion. If you use a fire activation, use a white candle.

Draw your sigil onto each stone with your white paint marker. You may want to draw it first in pencil, then trace it. Set both stones aside to dry.

Make a ring of salt and place the white candle inside and light it. When your stones are completely dry, take your white cord and loop it around each stone to create an infinity shape and bind them together. Wrap it around as many times as necessary to use the entire cord. Place the locked stones in the middle of the circle.

Apply one drop of cypress oil to each stone and at the point of the cord where it binds the stones together. Close your eyes and concentrate deeply on your sigil and your line of intention. When finished, extinguish your candle and collect the salt you’ve used in a small bag.

One stone should be placed near a doorway where it can get direct sunlight and moonlight. This will work to daily charge and nightly cleanse your sigil. Sprinkle some of the salt you’ve collected in a small circle around the stone.

The other stone should be placed at a different location, somewhere where it will be safe — like the home of a relative. Sprinkle the rest of the salt in a circle around this second stone.

Be very careful when choosing where to place your stones. They should be somewhat out of sight to avoid anyone touching them or worse, moving them. Their locations should be permanent and undisturbed for as long as you live in your home.

Should your second stone’s location become compromised, you may move it. Otherwise, once placed, leave the stones to do their work.
